Mark Twain wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in 1876 and he packed the story of genre fiction in exciting stories that make readers do not stop reading before finishing the novel. The story is set in the town of “St. Petersburg”, inspired by Hannibal, Missouri, where Mark Twain lived.

Synopsis

Mark Twain tells of a mischievous and imaginative boy named Tom Sawyer. Tom lives in his aunt’s house, Aunt Polly, who is generous and kind, with his half-brother Sid, on the banks of the Mississippi river, the United States. One day, Tom had a big fight with Becky Catcher, a girl he liked, and decides to leave the place to go adventuring with Huckleberry Finn. Huckleberry Finn is a friend who loves to roam and has often gone with Tom to various places, like a remote cave until the very beautiful coast.

But that time, there were several things that they never thought before. They saw a villain who stabbed a doctor till death, and this murderer put the knife used to kill the doctor on a drunk’s handheld who was asleep. Finally, the charge was posted to the sleeping drunk. In the interest of all parties, Tom and Huck went looking for the killer. Their adventure was full of naughty action, hilarious and audacious. Tom and Huck finally found the killer’s hideout and the killer was finally able to be handed over to the police.

One of the funniest parts in this book is when Tom and Huck found the killer in the cavern for a long time, the village people presumed that they had been died, and when Tom came back to the village, everyone was shocked and fear. The end of this story was; Tom and Huck got treasures from a mysterious widow in the cave, but Huck does not want to accept it, and as usual he always go away to return an adventure like the wind blows.

This book contains of 8 parts and 32 chapters. The adventure of Tam Sawyer is very interesting and amazing. You will find that reading this book brings you to the Tom’s era and adventure. If you are an adventure book lover, then this book is a must.
